ALL ABOUT BRENTFORD
Brentford is a great mix of old and new and part of the London Borough of Hounslow. There continues to be a lot of new development in Brentford sitting alongside some great historic houses. You can look to visit Syon House and Boston Manor House as well as their surrounding parks. The new Brentford football stadium, the Community Stadium which can hold 17,250 spectators, opened in 2020 replacing Griffin Park which was known for having a pub on each corner.
There are often local markets in Brentford and you can also visit the Musical Museum and Museum of Steam and Water or take in a movie or show at Watermans Art centre.
Geographically Brentford lies at the confluence of the River Brent and the Thames, 8 miles west of Charing Cross. Historically part of Middlesex, it has formed part of Greater London since 1965 and has easy road access to the A4 and access to both Brentford and Kew Bridge main line stations giving speedy access to Clapham Junction and Waterloo.
