Rail infrastructure

Park Royal is set to be the only location where High Speed 2 (HS2) and the Elizabeth Line (formerly known as Crossrail) will intersect, making it the ideal area for investment and regeneration – making the most of opportunities presented by even better transport links.

The Old Oak and Park Royal Development Corporation (OPDC) is using investment in the above rail infrastructure projects to create opportunities for local people and to create an exciting new West London hub with thousands of new homes and jobs.

One for the rugby fans… on 12th December 1908, the first ever rugby league test match between Great Britain and Australia was played in front of 2000 fans at the Royal Park grounds. The final score was 22-22.
