Between 13th and 20th June 2019, all of the Northfields Offices will be joining hundreds of agents across the UK in becoming drop-off points for The Trussell Trust, supporting our local food banks and, in particular @EalingFoodbank.
Number of food parcels given out across UK soared 73% in five years to March 2019
Data shows April 2018 to March 2019 to be the busiest year for food banks in the Trussell Trust’s network since the charity opened. During the past year, 1,583,668 three-day emergency food supplies were given to people in crisis in the UK; More than half a million of these (577,618) went to children. This is an 18.8% increase on the previous year.
We are asking for as many people in the Ealing Broadway, Northfields Avenue, Pitshanger & Askew Road Shepherds Bush locations to add an extra item to your shopping and pop it into any of our offices when you are passing. Office locations can be found here.
