8-19 April PONY DAYS AT EALING RIDING SCHOOL
And what kid has not asked if they can have a pony? Well for a whole day from 10am-4pm you can give your kids of 5 years and up the opportunity to ride a pony. They’ll learn about stable management and get riding instruction, but you’ll probably have won the kids over at one mention of “pony” – such is the effect of Pony Daze (Days). You’ll need to send your kids with a packed lunch and the right clothing and shoes.
The question of "Will we see Will, Kate & George?" might be almost as exciting a mystery as where are the eggs hidden. Whether or not the royals make an appearance there is certainly enough entertainment at Kensington Palace to keep kids amused. Hunt down a secret code for a chocolate prize, follow a trail through the beautiful palace gardens and meet the Georgian royal court. The Easter Egg Hunt is included in the entry price and is aimed at children aged 7-11. There will also be live performance and storytelling over the weekend. Any budding young designers can be inspired by the costumes of Kensington Palace and create their own Easter bonnet with the entries being judged at 3pm on each day and prizes awarded. Could you create a bonnet that Kate would wear?
Please note: Northfields is in no way endorsing any of these activities. Some have been very helpfully recommended by local families that we speak to via Facebook and Twitter, others activities have just been compiled from listings of events from across the web. We hope you'll find this listing of Easter holiday activities for 2014 helpful in deciding what is the best activity for your children.
